Biography:
Shahrukh Khan is a currently the reigning superstar of Bollywood, also nickname Badshah of Bollywood. He is also a film producer, television host and Kolkatta IPL cricket team owner.
Khan started out his career with several television serials in the late 1980s, the most famous of those being Faugi. He made his film debut with the commercially successful Deewana (1992). Since then, he has performed leading roles in numerous commercial and critically acclaimed movies. He has won several Filmfare Best Actor Awards. While films such as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De India (2007), and Om Shanti Om (2007), remain some of Bollywood's biggest hits, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) have been hits in the overseas market. Amongst the movies he has produced, the ones with Farah Khan as director have been huge successes, last being Om Shanti Om.
