Biography:
Bipasha Basu, know for her sexy bollywood actress image is one of the popular names in today's Hindi film industry. Born in New Delhi in a Bengali family, she is second of the three sister siblings. She began her career in modeling and came to fame winning the Ford's Godrej Cinthol Supermodel contest for 1996. Bipasha made her film debut in Abbas Mustan's Ajnabee, which was a commercial hit. She went to star in 'Raaz', 'Jism', 'No Entry', 'Phir Herapheri', 'Corporate', 'Dhoom 2' and 'Race'. All of these movies did fairly well at the box office catapulting her to success and recognition as one of the leading Bollywood actresses. Besides movies she has also appeared in a couple of music videos such as "Tu" for Sonu Nigam's album, Kismat and a guest appearance in Jay Sean's music video Stolen. As another feather to her cap, she is often cited by popular magazines and newspapers as one of Asia's sexiest celebrity women.
