Biography:
Aushima Sawhney is a bollywood actress who gained initial popularity through modeling after participating in the Miss India contestant in 2005. From modeling Aushima moved to bollywood (her ambition since she was 5). Aushima has studied Television presenting and acting in Sydney, Australia , but her family was initially against her decision of entering films. Her first break came with Dhokha (directed by Pooja Bhatt) followed by a remix album for 'Doorie'.
Aushima's next movie was Superstar directed by Rohit Jugraj where she played the role of Barkha. After that she bagged a role in high profile Yuvvraj directed by Subhash Ghai with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as co-actors. With more films coming her way, her family now encourages her for a career in movies.
