Bollywood stars might be popularly known for their public spats and their alleged rivalries with each other but when it’s for a cause, the tinsel town people are one big happy family! And this time, the cause is the legendary King of Pop-Michael Jackson.
Some of the Bollywood heavyweights like Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan , Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor and cricket’s poster boy Yuvraj Singh have come together to pay a posthumous tribute to the pop legend by releasing a music video on 29th August, marking the feted star's 51st birthday.
Produced by Red Chillies Idiot Box and directed by Samar Khan, the video called "Make It Large---A Tribute to Michael Jackson" can be downloaded free from the web portal of Khan's production company Red Chillies Entertainment. Emotional testimonials from the celebrity fans of MJ will be an added attraction of the video apart from the lilting tunes composed by Vishal and Shekhar duo.
The best in business, playback singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, KK and Shreya Ghoshal have lent their voice to the video whilst India’s very own dancing sensation and Michael Jackson loyalist Prabhu Deva have performed Jackson's popular trademark steps.
The idea behind making of the video stemmed from the common passion for the pop icon’s eternal music and the sheer love for MJ. King Khan rues his personal loss and the void created by the untimely death of the legend, a universal feeling echoed by millions of his fans worldwide.
