Neetu Gets Naughty……….

The traffic Signal girl, Neetu Chandra is in the eye of a controversy surrounding a photo shoot that she did for a leading men’s magazine. The photo shoot apparently, was so hot that some people are having a hard time digesting it and they are wondering if Neetu has become a desperado.

The speculations of Neetu becoming desperate may have some value to it as she hasn’t really had the kind of success in Bollywood that she would have hoped for. Even though she featured in some decent roles in a few notable films like Traffic Signal, Oye Lucky Oye and Garam Masala, her stocks in the tinsel town have remained stagnant. One of the reason that she hasn’t managed to attract attention from casting people could be her image, which is that of an unsophisticated village girl which incidentally, is the role she played in one of her earliest and most famous film Traffic Signal.

Its seems that Neetu has decided it’s high time she broke away the shackles as she might just be a couple of flops away from fading into obscurity. Photo shoots for popular men’s Magazine isn’t something new to our heroines. Many have done it with great results. Neetu jumping on to the bandwagon was only a logical step. The furor, however, is created by the tone of the photo shoot where Neetu is seen getting intimate with another girl, both in their beachwear.

Although Neetu defends her deeds by saying that the shoots were done aesthetically and girl on girl intimacy is hardly objectionable. But it seems the subtle nuance she is referring too isn’t enough to douse the fire. Here’s hoping Neetu comes out of the whole episode unscathed.
