Ashutosh Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai????

Ashutosh Gowarikar might come across as a cool headed man in control of himself, but a couple of recent instances have indicated otherwise. The latest being the lashing he handed out to Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Priyanka Chopra.

The location was the exotic Macau where the recent IIFA awards took place. The show was being hosted by two funny men of the industry namely Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh. A part of their routine involved a spoof on Ashutosh’s last release Jodhaa Akbar, which didn’t go down well with him. And to make matters worse he vented his displeasure in public.

Something even more shocking and awkward happened the same night when Ashutosh went on stage to receive his best director award. Priyanka who had just received her award for the best actress for the film 'Fashion' , was in for real uncomfortable moments when Ashutosh while receiving his own trophy asked the anchors as to why she was given the best actress trophy when Aishwarya Rai was nominated in the same category, incidentally for his own film Jodhaa Akbar. A hush fell over the entire gathering and everyone sported an uncomfortable smile. Although Priyanka looked like taking it sportingly but clearly Ashutosh had overstepped the line.

This, however, was not a one off for Ashutosh who also had similar altercation with the hosts at the Filmfare awards. Reports are abounding that the organizers have had enough of him and they might decide not to invite him to such events in future. Who will lose out if something like that happens, only time will tell.
