Verdict: Great Movie: Though Not An Alltime Best
The movie is impressive, though lengthy and not devoid of cliches. But what really makes the movie great is The Joker, the character, the dialogues, the expressions, the gait........every bit of the character nothing less than awesome. Add to it some really cool top class effects, and yes the movie is a delight to watch. However, The Batman does not shine through the movie, as you would want your superhero to. He is awkward, trying too hard to make an impression as something more than he is.
Overall the movie is a mix of very good and average movie watching, with its moments and not others.
