Synopsis: This film is a satire on how our institutions can be manipulated in today’s scenario. A hard hitting storyline, with ironic undercurrents throughout. A journalist, Meghna Sengupta receives tape from a young man who claims of having been robbed of his real identity. He claims he is the real Mohandas. She follows up the story to unearth a huge scam. Mohandas who belongs to a backward class in the hinterlands of Madhya Pradesh is a class topper and secures a white collar job at a mine. But he never gets a call to join. When he approaches the authorities, he finds out that someone posing as Mohandas has been working there. When he complains he get beaten up and thrown out. Meghna helps his story get limelight in the media. Another character, a lawyer from Mohandas’s district takes up his case. But as they take the matter to the court they find themselves in some more bizarre situations.
