Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India

Synopsis: The story is set in a small Indian village under British rule, about there unique uprising and struggle through a cricket game challenge to the British officials governing the village. Winning the challenge would see the village being wavered of their lagaan (tax) and loosing would mean paying multiples of it. The village team is led by young, enterprising lad, Bhuvan, who has landed the task of preparing a team, who to being with are not even acquainted with the game.
