Verdict: Dark comedy thriller which chills, thrills, amuses and leaves you in awe
Awe - every bit of the literal meaning of this word describes what you feel watching this magnificent movie. Even though "fairytale" is used as a pun throughout the movie, but the movie certainly has a fairy-talish quality to it. Collin Farell does convincingly well in his role as a novice hit man who mistakenly kills a child and is depressingly remorseful. The movie's story telling smooth and beautifully subtle. The dialogues deliver the comic relief extremely effectively. The camerawork and background soundtrack is superb too. All in all its one of the finest movies of recent times.

In Bruges is memorable for its two leading men, whose Mutt and Jeff killers are nearly as fascinating and likable as those played by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction.
