Synopsis: Based on the true story of legendary female bandit Phoolan Devi. Phoolan is married at age 11 and abandoned by her husband when she resists his advances. Following which she is turned into a social outcast who is later gang-raped by the upper-caste men of the village. She swears and gets revenge by joining a bandit group and with their help organizing a massacre that leaves 20 villagers dead. hoolan ultimately leads a band of her own and conducts bold raids against landowners in Central India during the late '70s and early '80s, often taking their nd and redistributing them to poor tenant farmers.
