What is DoctorFlix?
DoctorFlix is an Indian movies rating, reviews, updates and information website. We strive to provide our users reliable and comprehensive information on movies made in India or released in India.

Really, why the name?
Movies, flicks, flix, meter, pulse, diagnosis, doctor, well it just seemed like a good idea at that time.
How is a movie's rating calculated?
Flickometer is our customized rating mechanism. Flickometer takes into account several sources of movie feedback, such as critic reviews, user rating, awards won by the movie etc., to arrive at a measure that should agree with most movie viewers.
How can I rate a movie or person?
Click "Rate this movie" link on the movie page and use the dynamic Flickometer rating bar to cast your vote. Once the bar is dynamic, hover the mouse pointer on Flickometer and then click when the meter shows the rating you want registered. The same method can be used for rating people.
How can I review a movie?
Just click on "Add a review" link on the movie page, write a one line verdict summarizing your review, write the review and click on save. If your review is approved by our moderator, it will be uploaded to the movie page on our next update cycle.
How can I contribute to the movie and people database?
Once you are a registered user, you can rate and review movies or people from links on the respective pages.
You can edit a movie or person page by clicking on the Edit/Update record link on that page. We will review your suggestions and will make the appropriate changes to the page.
If you wish to add a new movie or person page you can use the Add record links on the "My Profile" page.
How can I upload images?
You can use the "Upload images" link at the bottom of the image pages. Please ensure that the images you upload do not violate any copyrights and are not obscene. The uploaded images will reflect on the site on our next update cycle.
How often is content on the site updated?
About once a day. So you can expect that much delay before your inputs reflect on the site.
What is the "My Profile" page for?
On your profile page you can create lists of your favorite movies and people and share it with your friends. You can also see statistics of your contribution to DoctorFlix. Well that's pretty much it as of now, but we intend to add more functionality to this page soon.
